As the song says,

February 6, 2010

how can I miss you if you won’t go away?

Despite his acknowledgment that “[w]e have never been good at predicting the future and what the new jobs are,” Saint John’s favourite would-be social engineer proceeds to do just that, according to Elizabeth Church in “Skilled labour will be in short supply, predicts former college president,” Globe and Mail (Feb. 2/10).

Honestly, it’s almost enough to make one defend the idea of a free market.

Church is giving Miner too much credit and space. He is indeed a “minor” veteran. Far far away from an academic leader.
