AUNBT message to members
Pass it on:
At the 2005-06 round of collective bargaining between AUNBT and the administration, the parties were unable to agree on strengthening the ergonomics article in the full-time collective agreement (Art. 49.01). However, negotiators for both sides wrote jointly to President McLaughlin to stress the need to respond to what was perceived to be a significant problem.
The administration’s response, communicated recently to AUNBT but never to university employees comprehensively, has been that “ergonomic assessments are available on request to Deans”.
AUNBT is interested in your feedback on how well this approach is working in your faculty.
