One big happy family

November 2, 2008

Joey Coleman writes the following in his blog at Maclean’s:

While the rest of Canada was firmly fixed on discussing the new federal cabinet, Newfoundland and Labrador premier Danny Williams decided to do a little cabinet shuffle himself.

Sadly for the province’s post-secondary sector,  Joan Burke will continue to serve as Education Minister despite her destruction of Memorial University’s reputation among potential university presidents.

He goes on to mention B.C. Minister of Advanced Education Murray Coell and the effective decline in university funding in B.C.
