Last night
was opening night for UNBSJ’s production of David Mamet’s Oleanna, directed by Jay Rawding. Tonight’s performance will be followed by a panel discussion of experts plus yours truly, and Saturday is closing night. Please consider coming to see this provocative play:
Oleanna by David Mamet features a male university professor and one of his struggling female students. Both are frustrated by their inability to effectively communicate their thoughts and concerns to each other. The tension escalates into a final outcome that is sure to leave the audience debating and discussing after the lights go down on this taut, gripping drama.Starring Scott Marshall and Lisa Flower.
Further information. But please note the location change: performances are in Hazen Hall Lecture Theatre, not in the Whitebone Lounge as originally advertised. Tickets are $5, $10 at the door. Sponsored by the Lorenzo Society.
